Public Housing The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) Public Housing Program provides housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly and persons with disability. The HACFL manages eight (8) public housing sites and a total of 709 units:
Rental rates are determined by income limits developed by HUD and are posted in the PHA offices. Families who wish to apply may do so upon the opening of the waiting list, which is advertised through public notice, local newspapers and our website.
